This program is for one feddan (4,200 square meters).
Pre-Planting Preparation
- 10 to 20 meters of well-rotted organic manure or compost from a clean source.
- 6 to 8 bags of super fine fertilizer, each weighing 50 kg.
- 2 bags of granular fertilizer, each weighing 50 kg.
- 2 bags of ammonium sulfate, each weighing 50 kg.
- 1 bag of potassium sulfate, weighing 25 kg.
Mix all these fertilizers together and place them in the planting furrow. Cover them with soil and water after four days. Apply 100 kg of agricultural sulfur on the furrows before planning to lower the soil pH.
After Transplanting
- On the third day after transplanting, apply 1.5 kg of phosphoric acid.
- On the seventh day after transplanting, apply a root rot treatment.
It’s important not to fertilize during the first 10 days as the plants are still small.

Additional Notes
- It is essential to spray molybdenum and boron on Day 35.
- Spray calcium boron at the start of the fruit-setting period every 10 days until a week before harvest.
Farmers may say they cannot fertilize every day due to water constraints. In this case, the program can be adjusted to a weekly basis, where the specified amounts of fertilizers are added weekly according to the irrigation method.
