Potato Fertilization Program for Drip Irrigation

Area: One Feddan for Winter Crop

Important Note:
There is no fixed fertilization program, but this is the closest approach for success, God willing.

Pre-Planting Preparation

  • 10 meters of organic compost or chicken manure
  • 8 bags of super fine fertilizer (50 kg each)
  • 2 bags of granular super (50 kg each)
  • 1 bag of urea (50 kg)
  • 1 bag of magnesium sulfate (25 kg)
  • 1 bag of fine potassium sulfate (25 kg)
  • 1 bag of agricultural sulfur (very important) (50 kg)

Fertilization Schedule

Days 1 to 10

  • Day 4: 2.5 liters of Bio Copper + 3 bags of Crabendazim
  • Day 8: 1 liter of Root Enhancer + 1 kg of phosphoric acid

Days 11 to 20

  • 20 kg of ammonium nitrate
  • 6 kg of phosphoric acid
  • 0.5 kg of humic acid
  • Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency (daily or every other day)

Days 21 to 30

  • 30 kg of ammonium nitrate
  • 10 kg of phosphoric acid or MAP
  • 1 kg of humic acid
  • Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency

Days 31 to 40

  • 35 kg of ammonium nitrate
  • 10 kg of phosphoric acid or MAP
  • 1 kg of humic acid or 1 liter of Root Enhancer
  • Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency

Days 41 to 50

  • 45 kg of ammonium nitrate
  • 15 kg of phosphoric acid or MAP
  • 1 kg of humic acid or 1 liter of Root Enhancer
  • Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency

Days 51 to 70

  • 50 kg of ammonium nitrate
  • 10 kg of phosphoric acid or MAP
  • 50 kg of calcium nitrate

Note:
Phosphoric acid or MAP should not be mixed with calcium nitrate but can be mixed with ammonium nitrate. Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency.

Days 71 to 90

  • 50 kg of potassium nitrate
  • 3 kg of phosphoric acid
  • Quantity distributed based on irrigation frequency

This is considered the minimum fertilization program in terms of cost, and potato farmers familiar with us know this.

Spraying Program

  • Day 45: Spray
    • 500 grams of iron
    • 750 grams of zinc
    • 500 grams of manganese
    • 0.5 liters of Green Growth or Amino Force
    • Repeat this spray on Day 55
  • Days 60 and 70: Spray Calcium Boron from Smart Land Company
  • Days 75 to 85: Spray twice with potassium citrate
  • Day 87: Spray 1 liter of 14% Boron

Finally, harvesting will occur between Days 95 and 100.

This program is specifically designed for potato farmers who plant after rice or corn, using summer break seeds, with planting times ranging from 87 to 105 days.
